Professional experience

I have a law degree and a postgraduate certificate in legal translation. I am a sworn translator of Polish and English. I provide translation, editing, linguistic review and legal writing services, primarily in the fields of law and insurance. In my career, I taught Legal English and created and delivered a postgraduate legal translation course. I won a tender for the provision of legal translation services to the Court of Justice of the European Union. My other clients include lawyers, law firms, academics and research institutions, publishing houses, universities, non-governmental organisations and public bodies. I translate books, academic papers, publications and reports, some of which have been published abroad. I constantly improve my professional competences: I completed a programme in English and European Law, take part in professional development courses organised by translators’ associations and I spend a lot of time developing my skills in-between (and while working on) assignments. I regularly collaborate with experienced insurance translator Iga Mleczko.
